Become a Volunteer

As with any not for profit organisation, the work of the Foundation is greatly enhanced through the support and work of volunteers. Our Patrons, Trustees and Board of Management are all volunteers who lend their expertise and networks to the Foundation. The Friends Groups in South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria all volunteer their time to organise events as well as to assist with ad hoc projects in the office. Finally, we have a small group of individuals who volunteer their time and enthusiasm to think of and follow through project ideas to add value to the Foundation’s program.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, on a regular or occasional basis, you will become part of a team whose membership includes a former government minister, a former Lord Mayor, two current Vice-Chancellors, members of Don’s family, friends of Don and other enthusiastic supporters.

Join a State Based Group

While the Foundation is operated out of South Australia, we have supporters in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. If you would like to become involved with one of these groups, please contact Claire Bossley on (08)83036247.
