Migration has been a longstanding priority for the Don Dunstan Foundation. Our annual Migration Update Conference brings together researchers, policy makers, service providers and the general community to engage in public debate about migration and refugee policy. The conference began in 2010 and is currently being reviewed with aim to have it return in 2019.
The Don Dunstan Foundation continues to analyse the opportunities and challenges of migration by supporting a Migration and Population Growth Network with the Committee for Adelaide and a Migration and Refugee Research Network (MARRNet) with a broad range of organisations.
The essence of our migration focus is using high-quality-research to assist the community to engage in conversation about policy and service delivery capability.
The Settlement Council of Australia has developed information which analyses the fundamentals of effective settlement in Australia in 2017.
